The Lighted Pearl Africa Foundation’s mentorship academy for children living in slum communities is a program designed to empower and equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and values they need to succeed in life. The program is focused on four key areas: skills building, moral values, life skills, and mental transformation.

Skills building

The academy provides children with hands-on training and education in a variety of practical skills, such as computer literacy, language skills, and vocational training. This training is designed to help children develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce and become self-sufficient adults.

Moral values

The academy also emphasizes the importance of moral values, such as integrity, responsibility, and respect. Children are taught to understand the importance of these values and how to apply them in their everyday lives. Life skills: The academy provides children with training and education in a wide range of life skills, such as financial literacy, health and wellness, and personal development. This training is designed to help children develop the skills they need to navigate the challenges of adulthood and become successful and responsible members of society.

Mental transformation

The academy also focuses on mental transformation, which includes developing children's self-esteem, self-worth, and self-awareness. This allows children to understand their own strengths and weaknesses and work on their abilities to become a better version of themselves.

Our Approach:

At Lighted Pearl Africa, we believe that mentorship is one of the most powerful tools for empowering children to achieve their goals and realize their full potential. The Lighted Stars Mentorship Academy is designed to provide children with the guidance and support they need to succeed academically, develop leadership skills, and become positive contributors to their communities.

Our program is open to children of all ages and backgrounds. We focus on providing mentorship and guidance to children who are at risk of dropping out of school or who lack access to educational resources. Through our program, children receive one-on-one mentorship from caring adults who can provide academic support, life skills training, and career guidance.

In addition to mentorship, we also provide educational resources and support to children in the program. This includes access to books, school supplies, and tutoring services. We also offer leadership development opportunities, such as public speaking training and community service projects.

Our Impact:

Since the launch of the Lighted Stars Mentorship Academy, we have mentored hundreds of children across Africa. Our program has led to improved academic performance, increased self-confidence, and greater opportunities for children to succeed in life.

We are proud of the impact we have made, but we know that there is still much work to be done. We are committed to continuing to empower children in Africa through mentorship and education.
